Reflections of Christ

I am sure that most of you have seen the Reflections of Christ slideshow or at least some of the pictures from it, but for those of you that have not, check out it out here. The exhibit of all the pictures is at the Joseph Smith Memorial building right now so Adeline and I went to see it yesterday, the photography is unbelievable and it is a very moving slideshow! Enjoy!

Halloween

We had a great halloween this year! We went to Cornbelly's pumpkin fest on Thursday at Thanksgiving point and it was great! Kayla just loved it and the weather has been fantastic, 20 degrees everyday! Even the 31st got up to 18 degrees, by far the warmest halloween I have ever experienced.

For Halloween in the afternoon we went to Gabe's office at Pinnacle to go trick or treating and their building is huge so Kayla got hooked up with candy! She got more there than trick or treating in the evening! Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I have no pictures of that.

My sister-in-law Charity took some pictures of Mercedes at 4 weeks old and I love them! Here are a few!

Mercedes Angeline

Well Mercedes is almost 7 weeks old but better late than never right? The transition from 1 to 2 kids hasn't been too bad for me because my mom was here for the first 3 weeks and Gabe is around when I need him. Kayla is also a very low maintenance child and she absolutely adores Mercedes so that helps tremendously. Mercedes was a bit fussy her first few weeks but now she is a great baby! She is smiling a ton now and we just love her! I feel blessed everyday to be able to be the mom of these two incredible little girls!

Jemaica's Wedding

Well life has bit a bit crazy lately! We are now moved to Utah but don't have a house yet! Because we are Canadians it makes things a bit tougher but we are getting there! I am hoping to move into a house in a month or so. Which isn't ideal obviously with the baby coming pretty much any day now but we will manage. We actually have a really nice 2 bedroom that my brother-in-laws parents have that they are letting us stay in in Draper so we have been watched over that is for sure. 

So usually the summer isn't technically over until the end of August but Jemaica got married the 15th so we were able to come home early which was very exciting for me (and for Gabe)! Her wedding was absolutely wonderful! She had a family/close friends dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building the night before the wedding and it was my favorite. The food was fantastic, they had a program there instead of at the reception the next night which was a great idea and was very enjoyable. It was just a great night all around! Gabe sang "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain which as most of you know it is always a treat to hear him sing, I personally wish he would whip out his guitar and serenade me more often!

The reception was at Troy's parents place, this is Lawson, Kayla and Denham on the swing enjoying their ice cream sundaes!

It got a little windy at the end of the evening, I think Kayla looks amazing in this photo!
